- Reducing or eliminating pain.
- Improving joint mobility.
- Improving circulation.
- Improving lymphatic drainage.
- Reducing muscular tension.
Massage therapy can be used for the treatment of both acute and chronic conditions. RMTs can work with a wide variety of patients, of all ages, in the treatment of illness, injury rehabilitation and disability.Massage therapy is a great adjunctive treatment to chiropractic and sports therapy, and pain relief is optimized for the patient
when these therapies are used in combination.
Massage Therapy can also be used as part of a preventative care program. This includes sports training, injury prevention, ongoing stress management, and more! Together, you and your therapist will develop a treatment plan based on your needs.

Swedish Relaxation is a relaxing full body massage designed to relieve tension, increase circulation and decrease stress.
Therapeutic Massage Therapy is defined as the mobilization of soft tissue (such as muscle, fascia and body fluids) to restore normal systemic and biomechanical/functional use. This massage is designed with the goal of obtaining a therapeutic benefit. Unlike Swedish Relaxation where the goal is to aid in relaxation.Choose this massage if you are looking to alleviate pain or improve injuries.
Sports massage is a form of bodywork geared toward participants in athletics. It is used to help prevent injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries.
Deep Tissue Massage is aimed at treating the deeper tissue structures of the muscle & fascia. Deep Tissue massages use similar techniques and movements to other massages but generally the pressure is more intense. They are great at breaking up scar tissue and promoting blood circulation.
Massage therapy during pregnancy is a wonderful complementary choice for prenatal care. It is a healthy way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness. Massage relieves many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, such as backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and edema (or swelling). It’s also been known to improve lymphatic & blood circulation & sleeping patterns.
Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly.
Cupping is a technique used in conjunction with massage. Through gentle suction and negative pressure, cupping releases soft tissue restrictions, drains excess fluids and toxins, and loosens adhesions bringing fresh blood flow to areas of stagnation. When used blood vessels expand pulling blood to the area to stimulate healing, develop new blood flow and causes anti-inflammatory chemicals to be released in the body. Cupping can treat high blood pressure, back and neck pain, anxiety, fatigue, migraines, cellulite and many other conditions.
* Hot Stone & Cupping are supplemented into massages at no additional cost when the therapist determines it will help improve symptoms.
